Food delivery drivers are responsible for picking up food orders from restaurants, cafes, or other food establishments and delivering them to customers in a timely and safe manner. They play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction through reliable, friendly, and efficient service.

– Uber/Bolt food delivery on scooters, bicycles or cars;
– if you have a driver’s license, driving a car;

Responsibilities:

  1. Order Pickup and Delivery:
    • Collect food orders from restaurants and ensure accuracy before leaving the establishment.
    • Deliver orders to customers’ homes, offices, or specified locations promptly, ensuring the food remains in optimal condition during transit.
  2. Customer Service:
    • Greet customers politely and professionally upon delivery.
    • Address customer queries or concerns regarding their order, if any, and provide updates when necessary.
  3. Handling Payments:
    • Process payments if required, including handling cash or card payments, and provide accurate change where necessary.
    • Record completed transactions for the employer’s records.
  4. Maintain Food Safety and Hygiene:
    • Use insulated bags or containers to keep food at the right temperature (hot or cold) during transit.
    • Ensure food packaging is intact and hygienic when delivered.
  5. Navigation and Route Planning:
    • Use GPS or mapping apps to navigate and find the quickest and safest routes to the delivery destination.
    • Adapt routes in case of traffic, road closures, or other unforeseen circumstances to avoid delays.
  6. Vehicle Maintenance and Safety:
    • Keep the delivery vehicle (car, scooter, bicycle, etc.) clean and in good working condition.
    • Adhere to local traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe driving.
    • Report any vehicle maintenance issues to the supervisor or take action as needed.
  7. Order Tracking:
    • Use mobile apps or delivery platforms to track delivery status and confirm completed orders.
    • Ensure accurate reporting and timely updates to the employer.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Education: No formal education is typically required, but a high school diploma or equivalent may be preferred.
  • Experience: No prior delivery experience is required, but experience in a similar role (e.g., courier or delivery driver) is an advantage.

Skills:

  1. Time Management:
    • Must be efficient in managing time to ensure timely deliveries, even during peak hours.
  2. Customer Service Skills:
    • Friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with customers.
    • Ability to resolve customer complaints or issues on the spot when necessary.
  3. Navigation Skills:
    • Familiarity with local streets and shortcuts, as well as proficiency in using GPS devices or smartphone apps to find the best routes.
  4. Attention to Detail:
    • Ensure order accuracy when picking up and delivering food, and double-check delivery addresses and special customer instructions.
  5. Physical Stamina:
    • Ability to carry food orders (which may be heavy or bulky), as well as drive or ride for long periods.

Benefits

Salary: 600-900 euros net/month
Accommodation: provided by the employer for 2-3 people in a room.
Health insurance: provided by the employer in Serbia.
