The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to move, load, and unload materials within warehouses, construction sites, or distribution centers. Key Responsibilities:

1. Material Handling:
   • Safely operate forklifts to transport goods and materials across the facility.
   • Load and unload goods from trucks, containers, or storage racks.
   • Ensure accurate placement and stacking of goods to prevent damage.
2. Inventory Management:
   • Assist with stock checks and maintaining inventory records.
   • Organize and maintain the warehouse to ensure efficient operations.
   • Report damaged or missing items to supervisors.
3. Equipment Maintenance:
   • Conduct routine inspections of forklifts to ensure functionality.
   • Report and address any mechanical issues or required repairs.
   • Adhere to maintenance schedules for the equipment.
4. Safety Compliance:
   • Follow all safety protocols and regulations for forklift operation.
   • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
   • Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
   • Coordinate with warehouse staff and supervisors to fulfill daily tasks.
   • Ensure clear communication for efficient material movement.
   • Support other warehouse activities as needed.

6. Requirements:

   • Valid forklift operator certification/license recognized in Norway.
   • Proven experience operating forklifts (counterbalance, reach truck, etc.).
   • Knowledge of workplace safety practices and regulations.
   • Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and extended periods of operation.
   • Basic understanding of inventory systems and logistics.
   • English or Norwegian language proficiency (basic to advanced).
